The acrylic painting Sleeper #2 is an original expressionist artwork made by artist Arturo Laime. It belongs to The Body series. Here the artist explores self-acceptance, sensuality, and expressions of love in the daily relationship with one’s body.
In Arturo’s words:
“I create this painting with the idea of doing a diptych, depicting male and a female while they sleep. This painting was started with pink colour as a background, and then I added other colours. I was inspired by the palette of a sunny day laying on the grass. With this woman, I wanted to transmit feelings of freedom and pride in being who we are”.

Materials: colour pencils, charcoal & acrylic pigments on panel.
Sleeper #2 is finished with UV-resistant satin varnish for protection and colour improvement.
This artwork comes with a metal hanger on the back, it’s ready to hang, and optionally can be framed
